Two weeks ago, our 5-year-old daughter came out of her Sunday School class with a styrofoam cup filled with seeds and potting soil. We have since transferred it to her pot of choice, and it is growing remarkably. She definitely got her green thumb from her great-grandmother.

Love when kids grow stuff, their amazement at the way nature works is always such a joy ... too fun! Now move onto herbs ;)

I dread kids bringing home plants as I know I will kill them. End of school year last year his teacher tried to send one home. I reminded her we were moving 3 hours away so had my kid give it to her as an end of year present lol
So far, her plant is growing quickly and healthy. She's super excited with the results, as are we. Thank you everyone for your comments and for linking up.
